IOB has been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), India. The Faculty at IOB are recognized as Ph.D. guides by Manipal University of Higher Education in Manipal. IOB currently has 15 Ph.D. scientists, 26 registered Ph.D. students and 10 students whose Ph.D. registrations underway with Manipal University.
