Akhila M. V obtained her M.Sc. degree in Systems Biology (5yr Integrated) from the University of Hyderabad. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in the field of cancer and stem cell metabolomics in the laboratory of Dr. Debnath Pal at the Indian Institute of Science.
   

Bhagyashree Kaduskar obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. degree in SUMOylation in Drosophila immunity in the laboratory of Dr. Girish Ratnaparkhi at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune.

   
Dr. Mosami Galvankar obtained her Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences from the Mumbai University. Currently she is pursuing postdoctrol research in the laboratory of Dr. Deepak Modi, Molecular and Cellular Biology Laboratory at the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai. Her work involves identifying biomarkers for endometriosis using an animal model.
   

Dr. Niroj Kumar Sethy obtained his Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Plant Genome Research in association with Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently he is working as Scientist-C at the Peptide and Proteomics Division, Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences, Delhi. His research interests include high altitude biology, nitric oxide signalling and biological applications of nanoparticles.

 
Dr. Sanjay Kumar, obtained his Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Medicine at the CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Currently he is working as Senior Scientist at National Research Centre on Equines (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), Haryana. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the National Research Centre for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro, Japan. He is currently working on molecular diagnostics of protozoan diseases of horses. His research areas include host-parasite interaction and to study the proteomics of the parasite so as to identify potential vaccine and drug targets.
 
Malini Sundar Rajan obtained her M. Tech degree in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology University, Vellore. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in developmental genetics of cellular slime molds in the laboratory of Dr. R. Baskar at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
 

Mithila Handu obtained her M.Sc. degree in Molecular and Human Genetics from the Banaras Hindu University. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in understanding the role of SUMO modification in innate immune response in Drosophila melanogaster in the laboratory of Dr. Girish Ratnaparkhi at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune.

 

 
Piyush Baindara obtained his M. Sc. degree in Life Sciences from the School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in the laboratory of Dr. Suresh Korpole at the Microbial Type Culture Collection, Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh. He is working on molecular and genetic characterization of antimicrobial peptides. His research areas include exploration of mode of action specificity of AMP's towards prokaryotes as well as in cancer cell lines.
   

Sakshi Chawla obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from the Thapar University, Punjab. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in Biotechnology in the laboratory of Dr. M. S. Reddy, Head and Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences at Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab.
