Shweta R. Gophane obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. She is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in the lab of Dr. C. N. Khobragade at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Her research work involves proteomic investigation of differentially expressed proteins at different stages in development of renal disorders.

Dinesh S. L. obtained his M.Sc. degree in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Madras, Chennai. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D. degree in the lab of Dr.M. Sundararaman at Bharathidasan University, Trichy. His study involves exploration of biodiversity and novel biomolecules from marine sediments using metagenomic approach.

Dr. Thungapathra M. is Additional Professor at Department of Biochemistry, PGIMER, Chandigarh. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She made a major contribution in developing a live oral cholera vaccine during post doctoral research at IMTECH, Chandigarh. Her current research interests include development of a Vibrio cholerae chassis as a platform for making vaccines against diarrhoel diseases and studies on genetic regulatory networks mediated by estrogen receptor (ER) in postmenopausal osteoporosis.
